The Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital has achieved another milestone of succes,. Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital and MBBS Medical College have been accredited by the CPSP ( College of Physician & Surgeon of Pakistan) for postgraduate (FCPS) training in another specialty which is Cardiology. The HoD Cardiology Dr. Saeed Ahmed Alam briefed about this success. He said that first of all thanks to Almighty Allah and thanks everyone. After first visit highly challenging demands by CPSP (College of Physician & Surgeon of Pakistan) were met within time by collaborative efforts of Principal MBBS Medical College Prof Dr. Faisal Bashir, Medical Superintendent Dr. Amir Aziz. Assisted by HoD Medicine department prof Dr. Tariq Masood and Prof Dr. Amjad Mehmood. Our team including our shining stars. Dr. Raza ul Haq, Dr. Burhan Saqib, Dr. Sadaf Kayani, Dr. Nadeem, and our staff including Qamar ur Zaman Staff nurses namely Staff Shahida/ Shaheen/ Zainab and all others. ECG technician staff our sanitation staff, all worked out at their best. Now we will face more stronger challenges and we will work as team and Allah will help us in these challenges as well Inshaa Allah. We will try to train such Cardiologists who will serve this homeland with their hearts, In the last special thanks to DG health Dr. Farooq Noor and Dr. Aurangzeb Alamgir who has always been like a mentor and this is their plant now ready to expand. With accreditation from CPSP we will be able to train our cardiologists in KIC Mirpur. With this accreditation it is first ever hospital in AJK to have honors to start FCPS cardiology training.
